Carvoeiro is probably the prettiest town in the Algarve. It has earned a reputation for being both unpretentious and cosmopolitan. This charming small town offers several beaches, two of the finest golf courses in Europe (Pinto & Gramacho) both within a 10 minute drive from the apartment, and a 9-hole golf course, Vale do Milho, a 5 minute drive. There are excellent tennis clubs, horseriding, water sports as well as an exceptional variety of restaurants.
For the family there are 2 water parks, Slide and Splash and Aqualand, and Zoomarine Theme Park all within a 20 minute drive from the apartment.
Faro airport is a 45 min drive away, and the city of Lisbon is a 2 hr drive.
